À la suite de modifications apportées à la Loi sur le patrimoine culturel en avril 2021, toutes les MRC du Québec ont l’obligation d’effectuer un inventaire des immeubles construits avant 1940 et ayant une valeur patrimoniale situés sur leur territoire.
Nous informons tous les propriétaires d’un bâtiment dans la MRC de Bonaventure dont la construction est antérieure à 1940 qu’il est possible que celui-ci soit retenu dans le cadre de cet inventaire.
Le cas échéant, la consultante en patrimoine, Camillia Buenestado Pilon, ayant reçu le mandat de réaliser l’inventaire prendra des photographies de l’extérieur de vos bâtiments entre octobre et décembre 2025. Seul l’extérieur de vos bâtiments sera photographié.
Votre présence n’est pas requise. Puisque le moment de la prise de photos n’est pas encore établi, cette lettre sert à vous aviser de la visite de la consultante. Pour cette période ciblée, nous vous rappelons de bien vouloir garder vos chiens attachés à l’extérieur.
Une séance de d’information publique ciblant les citoyennes et citoyens concernés par cet inventaire sera organisée au cours des prochaines semaines. Nous vous invitons à surveiller le site web de la MRC de Bonaventure et la page Facebook de vos municipalités pour de futures informations.

To whom it may concern,
Following amendments to the Loi sur le patrimoine culturel in April 2021, all MRCs in Quebec are required to conduct an inventory of their buildings built before 1940 and with heritage value located on their territory.
We inform all owners of a building in the MRC de Bonaventure that’s construction dates back to before 1940 that it is possible that it will be retained as part of this inventory.
If necessary, the heritage consultant, Camillia Buenestado Pilon, who has been mandated to carry out the inventory will take photographs of the exterior of your buildings between October and December 2025.
Only the exterior of your buildings will be photographed. Your presence is not required. This letter is used to notify you of the consultant’s upcoming visit.
For this targeted period, we remind you to keep your dogs tethered outside.
An information meeting with citizens concerned by this inventory will be organized in the coming weeks. We invite you to check the MRC de Bonaventure website and your municipalities Facebook pages for future updates.
